Random Life Update: February 2023

February was a rather boring, quiet month. Not a whole lot happened. I just can’t believe that we are already in the third month of 2023 and that I’m only seven months from being 20. ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿคข๐Ÿคฎ๐Ÿ˜ฑ๐Ÿ˜ต I’m so dreading it if you can’t tell from the emojis…

Valentine’s Day was a lot of fun. I was home that day, so it was really nice to be able to celebrate with my whole family. ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’“

We decided to make a bunch of queso and watch a fun movie. Each of us made a different queso. Jehosheba made amaaazing pretzels. Mama & Daddy made chips. *heart eyes* It was all so so good!

We watched Mr. Malcolm’s List. I thought it would be funny and it kind of was… I just don’t love romance stories in general. They all just seem so flaky and weird.

We had a covid epidemic at work. Almost all of the girls got it as well as all of the staff. ๐Ÿ˜ฑ๐Ÿ˜ต

It was insane.

The third time I’ve had Covid. ๐Ÿ˜ช

Thankfully, it was a very mild strain for everyone. It just felt like a mild head cold with bad fatigue and exhaustion. I am VERY thankful for that!

That same week, we had a massive snowstorm. There was so much snow and high winds, so the drifts were absolutely crazy!

Nana offered Nahum and Baruch some money if they did snow angels outside…in only their shorts! ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜‚ It was SO funny!!

My whole family had cabin fever. BAD. Baruch spent many days wandering around the house wailing about how he was dying of boredom.

I didn’t feel the cabin fever ’cause work gets me out of the house. It’s all the socializing I need…๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜‚

I was rather antisocial in February. ๐Ÿ˜‚ People make me tired…

One of the highlights in February was our movie food night!! For the past couple of years, we have given him special themed meals to go along with a movie.

This year it was Around the World In 80 Days. The food theme was English.

It. Was. Amazing.

Mama made bangers & mash, Cornish pasties, Yorkshire pudding, and an English salad. AHHHHHHHHHH IT WAS SO DELICIOUS!! ๐Ÿ˜

For dessert, I made a Victorian sandwich cake. It was delicious but looked absolutely hideous. ๐Ÿ˜‚

  1. Youโ€™re family makes the most delicious-looking food! It all looked incredible! It seems like you had a good February, and I can relate to feeling antisocial. Every once in a while us introverts need some time to ourselves or with family ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ

YES I totally agree. I’m dreaming of having a whole month to just stay inside and not interact with anyone besides my family! XD

  2. All that food looks incredible!

The more I have to leave the house for classes/errands, the more I want to stay in. I think I’d like to not leave the house for an entire month (or more)
Sorry you had COVID, but I’m glad it wasn’t too bad. My mom gave it to me in December. The whole time I had it, I didn’t know it because I was just really tired. But a few days in, my mom finally convinced me to take a test, and I was shocked to see it was positive xD.
