Hello everyone! I hope that you are having a lovely summer so far. We’re drowning in sweat over here in Florida. July and August have been miserably hot so far. For some reason, we always move to new states at the worst times – normally we move in the middle of winter. But nope, this time we had to move at the beginning of the hottest part of the year. *faceplant*
We had a great Fourth of July. I was very happy not to have to work, lol, like last year. Yoveil and I made a massive batch of cookies to take to a get-together with some families from church. It was very awkward and very hot outside and Dovid kept spraying peoples’ behinds with water from a mini pool that another kid peed in.
We drove down to Fernandina Beach and got some bubble tea and cupcakes to enjoy while watching the fireworks. β€

Nahum was feeling rather sick after eating two plates of food plus eight cookies. *rolls eyes*

Our library bookstore (you remember my last post about that here) had a bag sale – 2 huge paper bags for only $12!! The sale was packed. Everyone was stepping on everyone else and getting in each others way. Despite that, I managed to find 21 books! I’ll do another post sharing all of them later.

We got to visit our friends, the Chavers, from Kansas City. They were down in Orlando, so we drove to their hotel and spent the afternoon with them. β€ The boys have gotten so big! Dovid and Yoveil had a blast playing with them. β€

Other than that, not a lot happened in July. I got all stressed about future school stuff, got back into my schedule, enjoyed working with Daddy and ate way too much chocolate. XD
Cuteness from Yoveil and Dovid
Dovid was looking out the window and saw some random birds flying through the trees. He started jumping up and down while screaming, “LOOOK! CHICKENPOX! DO YOU SEE THE CHICKENPOX FLYING?!”
Later we were on a walk and passed a little girl that he had played with one time at the playground.
“That’s my true love.” After a minute. “Well, one of them. I have three true loves.” (All girls that he met and played with once at the playground.
He’s the only one here who believes in love at first sight.
)
Yoveil: I don’t want to be a normal kid. I’m glad I’m me. I like me. I like all of us being weird.

How was your July? How did you spend your 4th? Any funny things your siblings have done recently?
Oh my goodness, Julyβs over?! π My month was crazy, and it seems like yours was too. π Busyness is a gift from God, but hopefully, we could catch a break soon. π Happy August, Hattush!
