HAPPY THANKSGIVING – 2020!!!

Photo by Karolina Grabowska on Pexels.com

It’s Thanksgiving again!!! I seriously can’t believe it. This past year has flown by in a whirlwind. It seems like just yesterday that I was attempting to make a nutella cheese cake to go along with our other special holiday desserts. (I say attempting because our oven at the temporary house was horrible. It would say that it was on 350o like normal, but then it would take double or triple the time to bake the food.)

I’m sure this Thanksgiving season is a lot different for everyone than in previous years. Instead of traveling to Iowa to spend the holiday with family, we’re still at home. I, of course, desperately miss the traveling. We have been blessed, though, to have my grandma and grandpa come down to visit us and to spend the day celebrating with us. Love you both! ❤

I hope that, despite the changes and differences from previous years, that you all have a good day celebrating this special holiday. It’s different, yes. But that doesn’t mean that it can’t be a good day. I love you all and am praying for you today and in the months ahead. ❤ ❤

And now…..THE FALL TAG! I was tagged for this by Rosy! Thank you so much, girl!!

Beka, from Photos by Abby Rose started this tag! Be sure to check out her & Abby Rose’s awesome blog! ❤ ❤

Rosy’s Questions

Do you like red or green apples?

I love both, lol. I love the sweetness of the red ones. I LOVE the crisp, tanginess of the green ones. Ahhh. So good!

Best fall drink?

Apple cider. Or hot coco, but coco feels more like a winter drink. And tea, of course, is a wonderful fall drink – especially chia!

Sweaters or hoodies?

Hoodies 100%. I don’t really like sweaters all that much. XD

Best fall dessert/treat?

HOW CAN I PICK JUST ONE?!!!!! These questions are hard, girl! Let’s see….well, anything pumpkin related is fun. I love pumpkin cheesecake. 🙂

Favorite thing about fall?

AGAIN JUST ONE?!!!! XD I love the leaves. The colors are magnificent and….*is speechless* so beautiful.

Hot chocolate or apple cider?

Haha! I just listed both of those above. XD I would say apple cider. 🙂

What’s your favorite kind of pie?

Either apple or berry. YUM!

What do you associate with fall?

Warm clothes, chilly weather, pumpkins, festive music, and craft fairs. 🙂

Do you like wearing scarves?

NOOO. I don’t like gloves, most socks or hats either. XD In fact, if it’s warm enough, I’ll just go without shoes. XD When we lived in Kansas City, I would go almost all winter long in sandals without socks. We’d be walking through piles of snow and my feet would be numb but, eh, I didn’t care. XD XD Or I didn’t want to sacrifice my free-feeling feet for a pair of stuffy boots. 😛

I nominate….

Maggie

Lizziegrace

Kaley

Mr. Cookie

Mr. Bandit

My questions….

What is one song that always makes you think of fall?

One part of fall that you hate?

The best part of fall?

How do you celebrate Thanksgiving?

Do you like jumping in leaf piles?

Turkey or ham?

What is a Thanksgiving tradition that you have?

Favorite fall clothes?

Chia or apple cider?

Have an awesome day, friends! Eat lots of amazing food. 😉

  1. Cool tag!
This thanksgiving is different for us, too. We won’t be seeing any extended family, so that is kind of strange. And we are staying home, as well. We almost always visit my grandparents, but this year is different. *sighs*

  3. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your loved ones.

“Although Thanksgiving comes but once a year, every day should be a day of Thanks. Among all the challenges that we face as people with hearing loss there are certainly brighter moments in every day – moments that deserve to be recorded in our Gratitude Journal.”
