Hello everyone! Today we begin our great adventure! For my 18th birthday/graduation, my parents gave me the gift of a big trip overseas. Now, a year later, we are ready to set out on this lovely vacation.
Thrilled doesn’t begin to describe how I’m feeling!! By the weekend, we will be in Krakow, Poland. *screams*
In any case, I thought it would be fun to share the things that I am bringing for a (nearly) month long trip overseas. π
We have limited bag space, but in the end, everything fit quite well. I am always surprised by how little I want to take on trips but how heavy my bags always end up…

Obviously, journals are one of the most important things to bring. I plan on taking VERY detailed notes and I don’t want to run out of notebooks to write in! π

Second most important – books!! I was hoping to have finished Don Quixote by this time, but sadly I got stuck halfway through. So it is coming along with me. I also have my kindle which has hundreds of books on it. π

I have a fear of running out of pens, haha. I always seem to lose them on trips. *shakes head*

Fidget toys! I got two wonderful fidget rings, especially for the airport. I have a love-hate relationship with airports. I love them because they signal the beginning of a great adventure. They always make me happy because we’re about to set out to see and experience new things. But I dislike the crowds, the bright lights, the horrible noise, and the stress of security lines. So hopefully fidget rings will be helpful. π

Refreshments! Thank you, Grandpa, for the delicious licorice-flavored jelly beans!

I drink a lot of water – at least four of those a day because I’m constantly thirsty. So I’m bringing both bottles in hopes that I won’t dehydrate too badly during the travels.

Earrings, bracelet, and my precious earplugs.

Headphones. *nods* Very important.

Scribed audiobooks for the plane ride.

LibriVox audiobooks. (CLASSICS ARE THE BEST!!!)

And music. Soundtracks are my favorite if you can’t tell. π

My clothes. *shrugs* The picture is awful. XD
And, of course, my camera, shoes, and toiletries. π
