Above By Liz Blog Tour!

Hello everyone! I’m super excited to be participating in a blog tour for Lizziegrace’s new Etsy shop! Lizziegrace is a super sweet blogger. I encourage you to check out her blog, Above The Clouds.

Today I will be interviewing Lizziegrace about her new Etsy shop! Let’s jump right in! (My questions are in bold, her answers are in italics).

I’m Liz (or lizziegrace), a teen girl with a passion for Jesus. I enjoy dancing, writing, reading, photography, and a lot more things. 😉 I’m a huge fangirl of Narnia and KotLC!! The most important thing about me is that I absolutely love Jesus Christ with all of my heart, in everything I do I want to glorify Him. 

Why did you decide to start an Esty shop?

I actually saw a few people’s Etsy shops and I thought it looked fun! So I decided to look into it in the summer of 2020, my cousin’s husband actually saw one of my homemade bracelets I was wearing and said “You should sell those on Etsy!” After that I really started researching. I also really wanted a way to inspire others, I remember whenever I wore my bracelets each one had a memory linked to it so it helped me remember that! 

What products are you selling?

I’ll be selling friendship bracelets and graphic images. I do hope to eventually sell scrunchies and if covid continues, face masks. (https://www.etsy.com/listing/931077944/single-person-digital-portrait?ref=shop_home_active_3)

What are your favorite products that you have?

Oh goodness! This is hard, I think the diagonal bracelet is my favorite, it’s so cute and fun to make! (https://www.etsy.com/listing/974299848/custom-diagonal-bracelet?ref=shop_home_active_2)

Do you make the things that you’re selling?

Yep! All made by me. 

How did you come up with your shop name?

I was reading in my Bible one morning and I came across Colossians 3:2 which says “Set your mind on things above, not on earthly things.” After that I was like Above! And the “by liz” part came later. I think that verse is so so important. When I start focusing only on earthly things I get sad, unhappy, and just overall it isn’t fun. But when my mind is on Jesus, on Him it’s the best feeling and amazing! 

What goals do you have for your shop?

To inspire as I mentioned in the first answer, also to earn some money 😉, I really want experience with a job too. Oh and to get a sale! XD
