In One Week…I Shall Return

I always cringe when I see posts titled “Hiatus” or “I’m Taking A Break”. Especially when they’re posted by my favorite bloggers, because I’m going to miss reading their posts and hearing about them and their life.

But here I am, proclaiming that I am taking a break from blogging. For one whole, long week.

Now I understand you, my fellow bloggers. Breaks are necessary. Blogging is hard and great and exhausting and annoying. Bloggers get tired and they lose their inspiration.

I think my inspiration died a sad death, all alone, somewhere far away where I couldn’t rescue it. *cue tragic music and the crying* Because of that, my poor little blog has been suffering lately.

I love blogging. It encourages me, it strengthens me and it gives me a place where I can laugh, meet people and share my life. I am definitely not a “pro-blogger” and I still have a lot to learn. I’ve come so far since I first started back in 2018. But in order to keep improving, I have to give myself a break sometime. I’d rather write one or two GOOD posts than fourteen really bad, boring ones.

*nods*

So…I’ll be back. If you follow me on my other blogs, you’ll see me there. But for the next week, I won’t be on DOTL.

I will see you in 168 hours! 😉 Who knows, maybe Inspiration will have regained life and come back to me. 😉
