National Ice Cream Day

GUESS WHAT, PEOPLE!? I AM SO EXCITED! TODAY IS NATIONAL ICE CREAM DAY!!!! *dies of joy* Who doesn’t love to sit down with a nice cold bowl of ice cream on a hot day? I am personally so very happy that we have a National Ice Cream Day! Okay, well, maybe I had no clue that it existed until this year…. Anyway, I want to help you guys celebrate!😜

I’ve put together a list of unique ice cream flavors that will be fun to try! If you have an ice cream maker, it is super easy to make some and enjoy it! 🙂 (And if you don’t have an ice cream maker, there are always the options of no-churn ice cream that has a ton of evaporated milk in it. 😛 )

(Note: I have linked to several recipes that look good, but I cannot vouch for them all, as I have not tried most of them. 🙂 )

Mint Chocolate Chip

This is beeeeautiful! *heart eyes* I love mint, and chocolate and together *has no words*!

Avocado

I haven’t tried avocado ice cream, but I CAN say that avocado can be really good as a dessert. We once had avocado chocolate mousse. IT. WAS. AMAZING. So creamy and I couldn’t really tell that it had avocados in it (other than the greenish tint)!

Cherry Chocolate Chunk

*dies of longing* I want this. XD

Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup

This one is kind of a classic, I guess. 🙂 I mean, who doesn’t love peanut butter and chocolate? Drizzle some homemade fudge sauce over top and ENJOY!

Salted Caramel

One word. YUM.

Peppermint

Peppermint is a refreshing and delicious ice cream flavor!

Key Lime Pie

Real key lime pie is AMAZING! So why not combine it with one of my favorite desserts to make a super-dessert?!

Honey Lavender

Sweet and delicate flavor!

Goat Milk Vanilla Ice Cream

Okay guys, I know that some of you probably have an aversion to that “goaty” taste that comes with a lot of goat milk. But a few years back (when we were on a diet) Mama made sugar free ice cream out of goat milk and it was surprisingly good! This is a great option if you’re looking for a healthier dessert. 😉

Dairy Free Ice Cream

If you are allergic to dairy or are just avoiding it, then almond/coconut milk is a great option. 🙂

Sweet Potato

Weird, right? Well, I HAVE actually had sweet potato ice cream before and it was really good! It tasted a lot like pumpkin pie. 🙂

S’more

*heart eyes* Marshmallows, gram crackers and CHOCOLATE plus ICE CREAM! AAAMAZING!

Apple Crisp

This is a really neat idea, I think. 🙂

Chocolate Fudge Brownie

CHOCOLATE CHOCOLATE CHOCOLATE! I’m guessing that this is a very rich ice cream!

Cheese Cake

I love cheese cake, so any way that I can find to add it to something is great! 😛

Orange Chocolate

*runs to the kitchen to try this one*

White Chocolate Raspberry

*runs back to the kitchen to make this one, too, because I absolutely looooove white chocolate*

Coffee!!

Coffee is a WONDERFUL flavor for ice cream!

Coffee Hazelnut

Coffee goes so well with hazelnut! It’s amazing!

Lemon Curd

This is an interesting flavor, but is cool! 🙂 I want to try it now…..

Jalapeno Cheese Cake

Ah, more cheese cake! 😛 This is a very interesting and unique flavor! (If you try it, let me know how it was!)

Maple Bacon

Well, I personally don’t like to add meat to my desserts, but for all of you bacon lovers, this is a great option! (Jehosheba, I see you drooling in the corner. :P)

Eggnog

*cues Christmas music* Remember the wonderful holidays! (Christmas in July, guys!)

Gingerbread Cookie Dough

TRY THIS ONE! I COMMAND YOU!

Mocha Fudge Swirl

Coffee back again! TRY IT, PEOPLE!

Nutella Peanut Butter

Well people, what can I say? I love nutella way too much. Combine it with peanut butter and WOW!

PB&J

And finally, PB&J. Little kids have a strange fascination with this food combination, so why not add it to ice cream? 😛 The kids will love you forever.

Well, people, I hope that gave you some ideas! NOW GO MAKE SOME ICE CREAM! 🙂 Have a great day!
