A Day In My Life

Miss Rosy Marr, you are my blogging inspiration. 😛 Rosy did a blog post about a day in her life, which inspired me to do one as well! (Sorry, Rosy, I keep stealing your ideas….)

9:15 AM

I (reluctantly) wake up and headed downstairs for breakfast with my family.

Yoveil is the cutest….

10:00

I go outside for my morning run. (After I was done, Yoveil looked at my feet and was like, “Hada! You have red feet from running! That’s so nice!” XD She’s so cute….)
Then I sat down with a nice (iced) cup of tea to start school.

Catching up on grammar….I’M FINALLY ALMOST DONE WITH THIS COURSE!

11:30

Mama leaves for her appointment and I start babysitting. I put on my required reading audio book while I hold Dovid and start a salad for lunch. After I finish that, I head upstairs to finish my school.

12:20 PM

School is done and I put chili into a pan for lunch. While we eat, we listen to AIO and chat.

MARSHMALLOW TIME! Yoveil and I make homemade marshmallows. 😉

Meanwhile, the other kids start a game of Monopoly! (Does anybody else love Monopoly? It’s soooo fun!!!)DSCF1237.JPG

1:40

RANDOM FREE TIME! I worked on some future posts for my blog, responded to emails, helped the younger kids with their troubles, and worked on more school (I had sooo much extra reading I was supposed to do! The Illiad is very long. XD)

3:00

Mama gets home and I work on more school and random computer work. I listen to music, and have a nice quiet time all by myself in my beloved room with my beloved peace. Ahh.

Daddy gets home from work early. The other kids were still playing Monopoly!

5:20

Game Two of Monopoly begins! I join in! (And drink two cups of tea and eat two and a half cup of ice…yes, I’m so weird. And yes, my jaw did hurt after that. XD)

7:30

Monopoly finally ends and I WON! *cheers* We eat supper and then I head back upstairs to work on my embroidery and my writing.

7:45

I make gram crackers and then assemble s’mores for everyone. 😉 🙂 Then I’m back to my room for more reading and writing.

12:00 AM

I shut my bedroom light and close my computer for the night. Then I lay down and read for a while.

2:00 AM

At long last, while catching glimpses of the stars through my blinds, I let sleep overtake me at last. I fall to sleep to the comforting sound of my music. Ahh.

        1. Well, I help my brother with his blog using Blogspot, but I did try several different blog formats when I was starting Daughter of the Light. WordPress just works best for me. 🙂

  6. I loved this post! So interesting! You should do another one!! My day usually consists of school, meals, getting energy out, catching up on projects, quiet time, and family time in the evenings! And depending on the days, there’s babysitting mixed in, and appointments . . . lessons . . . church events . . . (winks) We go to bed at 10:00, and waking up times are different for everyone. Usually I’m up at 7:00 – 7:30. Sometimes before. I just don’t get up until 7:30, because that’s the limit here! (laughs) But usually everyone else is up by 8:00 – 8:30. (winks)

      Nice!! *smiles* And wow, you get up way earlier than me! I’m just not an early person…I like the IDEA of morning, but I don’t put it into practice…XD

      1. I’m both an early bird and a night owl. I could stay up basically all night and then turn around and get up and moving early in the morning. People think I’m crazy. I’m always told I’m WAY too chipper in the morning. Maybe because I live in a house that has like NO early birds! (laughs)

  7. This was fun! My! 😂 You got to bed at 2:00 AM??! Whoa! Ok, well, I’m a close second. There have been nights (mornings??🤣) where I’ve gotten to bed at 1:00 (or after), sooo. Yeah. Anyway, we have a pretty crazy schedule that for the past couple of months we’ve been TRYING to get under control. Bed time can be anywhere from 10:00-11:30 (or after), and wake up time (for me at least) can be from 8:15-10:30 (it depends on when I got to bed and if it’s a weekday/end.) Days are quite boring around here.😄

    1. Uh, yeah. XD I go through these spirts where I can’t get to sleep until after 1 or 1:30. :/
      Ah, I get it, girl! Crazy schedules! 😉

      1. Seriously? Alright, but don’t say you didn’t ask. 😂 So, about the most interesting things that happen in my week these days are going out with my mom (e.g. shopping) and hearing interesting stories from my sisters’ work days. 🤣 Yes. That’s about it. Soooo. Yeah. My days are pretty uneventful. 😆
