Bake Off!

For the past three Mondays, Nahum, Baruch, Yoveil and I have been doing this little “bake off” as a part of school. (Great part of studies, right? We get to “taste test” food – we need to make sure it isn’t poisonous, you know. XD) Basically, Mama gives us a theme and we have to create something based off of that theme. The first week was the cake competition. Last week we made a varieties of edible cookie dough. (You should have seen Baruch’s….it had SO MUCH candy in it!) And this week our challenge was to make something with fresh cranberries and clementines! I was wracking my brain trying to figure something out, but eventually I decided to make a cheese cake with cranberry-clementine sauce over top. I had this perfect image of it in my mind. *sigh* Alas, things cannot look as perfect as they do in my mind. *weeps*

The whole thing was pretty easy to make though. It was a lot of fun! I LOVE cheese cake and it is so easy to make but so yummy!

Meanwhile, the boys were making their creations. 🙂 Baruch pretty much just put a bunch of sugar, marshmallows and chocolate in a bowl. He added a couple other things and then ground it up. I was amazed that it tasted pretty good!

Nahum’s turned out well, too. 🙂

It was fun! We haven’t officially tasted them yet but I’m sure they’ll be good! Okay, well, I do know that they are good because yes I did taste them all already but…..
