Apples, apples and more apples!

Guess what?! We were given a TON of apples from the many apple trees around this area! We now have three big totes full of apples!!! This afternoon Jehosheba, Nahum and I were working on cutting up some of the apples for future use.

  2. So fun! this is almost exactly like what do during apple season! We live in the largest apple producing area in Mexico, and are completely surrounded by appl orchards. SO we get a LOT of apples, and have “apple partys” every day for a while. (Apple party is just the name we gave for when we spend all day processing apples. Cutting, chopping, freezing, juicing, canning, and making apple sauce. It’s fun at first, but gets tiring, lol!)
    I loved the pictures! (Aaah, is that kombucha on the counter?!? Yuuum!)

      1. Yes, they are fun the first few times! After a while though, I’m quite certain I never want to see another appl in my entire life, LOL! XD
        Ooh, cool! 😀 I want kombucha!!! Lol. We don’t get it very often. I REALLY want to start making it soon! ;P

  4. I love canning our own applesauce and apple butter. Naomi freezes a few gallons of apple crisp mixture also!
