No-Bake Peanut Butter Chocolate Cheese Cake

A few months ago, I decided to make up a new recipe! I LOVE baking, but most of the time I just follow recipes I find various places. (Believe me, most of my made up recipes are no good.)  But I decided that I would make my own recipe….. and it turned out to be okay! 👍🏻

No-Bake Peanut Butter Chocolate Cheese Cake Recipe

For the crust:

15 homemade dry/old chocolate chip cookies

1 stick of melted butter

For the filling:

2 packages of room temperature cream cheese

1 cup of peanut butter

1/2 cup of sugar (ah, my baby! I love you too much! XD)

1/4 cup chocolate chips

For the topping:

1 1/2 cups of semi-sweet chocolate chips

1/2 cup of heavy-whipping cream

1 tablespoon of vanilla

Directions:

Make the crust first. Break the cookies up until they resemble crushed graham-crackers. Then add the melted butter and press the mixture into a pie-pan. Set it aside.

Make the filling. Mix the cream cheese, peanut butter and sugar together in a bowl until combined. Add the chocolate chips. Put the mixture into the waiting crust and set aside.

Make the topping. Melt the chocolate chips in a pan. Watch them carefully so that they don’t burn. (There is nothing so tragic as burnt chocolate.) Once they are melted, remove the pan from the heat and add the cream and vanilla slowly and stir until they are combined. Pour the chocolate over the cream cheese mixture and put the whole cheese cake into the fridge for a looooong time. XD Well, leave it in there for at least two or three hours, then take it out and eat it up. 🙂
