An Interesting Weekend

Hey people! (Sorry about the title! XD I am NOT good at coming up with names for anything! XD)

This weekend was a lot of fun! On Friday morning we packed up our van and headed away from our cold, wet house. XD For some strange reason, our van SMELLED SO AWFUL. (It wasn’t all because there were eight people crammed inside – some with very smelly feet *glances towards my brothers*) After maybe an hour or so of sitting in the smelly van, Daddy found the source of the stink. Apparently, Nahum had put a container of partly eaten ice cream in the pocket on the back of one of the seats. The ice cream had been forgotten and, over time, it slowly decayed and caused the awful smell. XD

When we arrived at our first place (to have coffee and pastries with Nana, Papa, Uncle Grant and my little second-cousin Cannon!!) we got there just in time for a tornado warning. The sirens were all screaming! We went inside the coffee shop and ordered some yummy stuff. A certain brother of mine got very terrified and was glued to the phone, watching the time feverishly, and waiting for the warning to be done. He couldn’t even eat the tiramisu that we got!!! (Don’t worry, Nahum, I used to be the same way! XD) The warning got extended and the sky started to look not-so-pleasant, so the coffee shop staff said that we should head back to a safe room. By that time, my sister was getting worried. When we got back to the room, she started to write goodbye notes to her friends! Nahum gave me the knife he always carries and Jehosheba said that if something happened to her arm (when the tornado hit and we were all blown away XD), I should use the knife to amputate it! The boys enjoyed the room where we were sitting, because it had lots of exercise balls and a big sandbag that the boys had fun hanging from. XD After a while, we were given the ok to leave the room. Jehosheba and Nahum were very relieved that we had lived. XD

Over the weekend we got to visit with both sets of grandparents AND we got to see my oldest cousin GET MARRIED!!!!!!!! 🙂 🙂 🙂 The wedding was a ton of fun!!!! ❤ We also got to stay in a couple different hotels and (at one of them) we got to eat hotel breakfast and (at the other one) yummy doughnuts! 🙂

We also got to visit our friends the Ghims. ❤ We spent the evening with them and I had a LOT of fun!  We played tag and ate great food and talked. ❤ Thank you so much Elizmen, Samual, Niara, Eva, Juliana and Joy for the fun you gave me and my siblings! It was so great playing with you all! I haven’t laughed that hard or had that much fun in a long time!!! ❤ ❤ ❤

We got to visit some of Mama’s friends, too, which was nice. 🙂 The whole weekend was pretty fun and, I have to say, I was not happy about coming home again. But hopefully school and home life will go well, too. XD
