Goodbye Tonsils and Adenoids

My great family and little old me woke up at 5:45 this morning to get ready to drive to the surgical center and get there by 7 something. Today was the day that I was to say goodbye to my tonsils and my adenoids. I had been really dreading it and I was so nervous about it all.  But last night God gave me peace and even though I was still really nervous today, I wasn’t so panicked. So THANK YOU everyone who was praying for me. ❤

I’m doing pretty well right now. Very tired and my throat hurts but otherwise I’m good. Everyone who helped with my surgery was SOOOOOOOOO nice! (They even gave me a pretty flower to take home. <3) And my great mama and baby brother Dovid got to stay with me while I was getting prepared for the operation. (While Daddy took the kids and got breakfast. :)) 🙂 It was so much better than I had thought it would be and everyone was so great. …I think I already said that…Umm, my brain is currently….some word that I can’t recall right now. XD. I thought it was kind of funny: on the aftercare sheet it said that I shouldn’t be making any big decisions for a while. XD

So I had to get my nose ring taken out before the surgery. I was so nervous that the hole would close up again, and it did partially. But thankfully Daddy was able to get it back in. I don’t think I’ll be taking it out any time soon. 🙂

Last night I was planning a big farewell speech to my tonsils and adenoids. It had it all planned out last night and it was going to be very comical. But my sense of humor has been severely squashed. (If I tried much right now, it would be very…umm…sarcastic…) XD.

Anyway, I want to say a big thank you to my parents for taking care of me and my siblings for being so nice to me. You all are great!!! ❤ And a big thank you to all of my dear friends who have been praying for me. You are very appreciated. ❤ And I want to thank God for letting everything go so well and for loving me and giving me salvation. ❤
