My Blogging Ambitions

It is eight-thirty pm. The world outside the fogged up windows is cloaked in darkness. The moon is covered by thick clouds. My three pet chickens are huddled close together in their coop, attempting to keep warm in the thirty degree weather. Inside of a cozy house, staring into her computer screen, sits a teenager. Smells of turkey, stuffing and cranberry sauce hang in the air making it hard to concentrate on the task at hand. The teen runs her hand through her dark brown hair and sighs. What does everyone else write for a first post on their new blog?

Wait – what? Is Hattush starting her own blog?

If that is your question, I have a simple answer. Yes. I have decided to start my own blog!!! I am excited and nervous about this! Excited because I will now have a place to share my life with all of you. And nervous because I have never done this before and I tend to be afraid to try things that I might be terrible at! One big reason I decided to try this is because my younger sister Jehosheba just started a blog. (Check it out here!) I decided that if she could do it, I could do it. So here goes! Let the adventure (and mistakes) begin! I’m looking forward to sharing more of my life with you all.
