Hello everyone! You may be wondering why I’m doing an art award when I’m always wailing about how horribly my art is. LOL. I do enjoy some art OCCASIONALLY. And my amazing friend Rosy Marr made this tag! So here I am!

The Questions

  1. What medium do you use in your art? (i.e. acrylic, watercolor, colored pencils, etc.)

Watercolors. Occasionally colored pencils or markers or sketching pencils, but mainly watercolors. 🙂

2. What’s your favorite piece of artwork you’ve ever done? (Include a photo)

Oh man. Um. Okay. *searches through piles of failed art* *comes up empty* *searches through another pile* Eh, I guess this one here. (THE LETTERING IS NOT STREIGHT AND IT IS DRIVING ME COMPLETELY INSAINNNN! 😡 AND THOSE HEARTS ARE NOT SYMMETRICAL. AND…I can go on…)

3. What’s your least favorite artwork you’ve done, and what did you learn from it?

I had this brilliant idea to recreate a photo from my parents wedding for their 20th anniversary. But it didn’t turn out AT ALL like I wanted. The faces. Guys, look at those sad faces! I learned that lips and eyes are incredibly hard to do – especially from a side view.

4. What was the last piece of art you did?

^^ The above mentioned tragedy. 😂 I don’t do art terribly often.

5. Who are your favorite artists?

Young artists: Jehosheba, Rosy Marr and Amie.

Other artists: there are too many people who do amazing art. I can’t pick!

6. What is your favorite thing to draw/paint?

I love doing sugar gliders and people (without faces, lol).

7. Do you have any art tips to share?

Um. No. I’m still in the learning stage, not the advice sharing stage.

Maybe, just HAVE FUN. Don’t stress about making everything perfect.

8. When did you get into art?

I’ve always enjoyed drawing and painting. When I was 10/11/12, I was SO into drawing and pencil sketches. I have so many sketch books that are filled with weird and random drawings. I eventually lost that love and turned more to writing. Then at the beginning of 2020, I started experimenting with watercolors again and realized that they were so much easier than other art forms that I had tried. XD

9. What inspires you?

Beauty. Pain. Sadness. Happiness. Sugar gliders. XD (An odd combination, but no one said I was normal)

10. What are your favorite colors? 

OOOH COLORS YES! Red. Black. Turquoise. Yellow. Certain shades of blue. I love seeing different color combinations!

        Yes I was, but I’m not prone to be artsy.😄 I may be able to come up with something if I put A LOT of thought and effort into it, but I’m not the type that has art coming out my fingertips. XD

        1. I thought so! I went back and looked through the art work and yours were really good!
          Haha, yeah, I’m kind of the same way. I definitely can’t just sit down and make an amazing piece of art.
